Celebrate Harrodsburg's 250th with Art!

Artists are invited to submit original drawings, paintings, or other art for a contest celebrating Harrodsburg, Kentucky's 250th Anniversary in 2024. [No photography or computer-generated art.]

Works may depict Harrodsburg's natural beauty, historic sites and buildings, historic events, or people who have contributed to Harrodsburg's development.

Prizes will be awarded in three categories: images suitable for framing, images suitable for greeting cards or postcards, and images suitable for Christmas cards. In addition, prizes will be awarded to entries by youth (age 12 or under) in each category. Judging will be arranged by the Arts Council.

Entries should be submitted at the Harrodsburg Historical Society (220 S. Chiles St.). Artist's name should not be on the front of the picture, as judging will be anonymous. 

Winning images will be used to create postcards, greeting cards, and prints to be sold to raise money for the 250th Celebration.
