Brick Campaign Supports Morgan Row

Your commemorative brick will support building repair and maintenance projects at Morgan Row, the historic headquarters of the Harrodsburg Historical Society.

Built in the 1810s by Joseph Morgan and his son-in-law John Chiles as a hostelry, tavern, and stagecoach station, Morgan Row is the oldest row house west of the Alleghenies. Like any historic building, it requires costly upkeep. Current needs are foundation stabilization for the kitchen and office additions, gutter and fascia work on the roof, painting outside doors and windowsills, reglazing of windows, and a continuing problem with bats.
