Overview of Events for 2022

Our calendar of events will let you know what's headed your way and allow you to plan in advance to attend or to volunteer to help or pledge your support so we can make it happen. Local history is always a community event!

  • January 11, 2022Zoe Anderson Norris: The Queen of Bohemia

    Speaker Eve Kahn will discuss her research on Mercer County native, Zoe Anderson Norris. Eve will be joining us via Zoom.

  • April 12, 2022HHS Annual Business Meeting - Presentation: KY US Senators

    This annual meeting will include election of officers (if needed) and annual committee reports. The business meeting will begin at 6:45 PM and the program will begin at 7:00. Speaker Paul Whalen (attorney and author) will present information from his latest book on Kentucky US Senators.

  • May 10, 2022National Historic Preservation Month

    A panel discussion with local property owners about their work to restore their historic properties.

  • June 16, 2022Harrodsburg Annual Birthday Celebration

  • August 9, 2022Kentucky's 1st US Senator, John Brown

    Speaker Steven Walker, PhD, will present material from his most recent work: a completed biography of Senator Brown.

  • November 8, 2022Veteran's Day Program

    Speaker Amalie Preston will present our Veteran's Day program with special emphasis on the Harrodsburg Tankers.
