Baldin House

1178 Cummins Ferry, Salvisa, KY

The Baldin house, built by William Baldin in 1850, is an example of how Mercer County builders interpreted the Gothic Revival style in their choice of steeply pitched roof, bargeboards on the eaves, and central wall gable to ornament a single pile, central passage plan with an ell. The house and farm remained in the Baldin family until 1927.
