Williams House (White House)
2559 Warwick Rd, Harrodsburg, KY
This original wattle and daub house was known to have existed as early as 1806 when David Williams gave the house to his daughter, Polly, as a wedding present. It was designed on the hall and parlor plan and faced south towards the old Warwick Road. In 1835, the house was enlarged with the addition of two one-room symmetrical ells on either end. The new façade created during the remodeling has a recessed portico and faced east towards the relocated road. A square log house was moved and reconstructed on the west side of the house.
